About Us

The Armenian “Rolan Bykov Foundation” was founded in Yerevan in 2001. Its main goal is implementation of cultural, educational, human rights and social projects addressed to aesthetic, cultural, and educational development of children and youth. The Foundation, along with numerous other projects, is also the organizer of “Rolan” International Film Festival for Children and Youth” in Armenia, which in this format is the only international film forum for children and youth in South Caucasus.

About the Festival

The Rolan International Film Festival for Children and Youth, previously organized by the Armenian “Rolan Bykov Foundation,” has been rebranded as the “ManuFest” International Film Festival for Children and Youth starting in 2026. The festival is now organized by the renamed Armenian Foundation for Promotion of Cinema and TV for Children and Youth, newly rebranded as the “Manu Fund.”

Starting in 2026, the “Rolan” International Film Festival for Children and Youth, organized by the Armenian “Rolan Bykov Foundation,” has been renamed the “ManuFest” International Film Festival for Children and Youth. The festival is now organized by the Armenian Foundation for the Promotion of Cinema and Television for Children and Youth, renamed the “Manu Fund”.

The 22nd ManuFest International Film Festival for Children and Youth will take place on November 3–7, 2026.

One of the main goals of the ManuFest International Film Festival for Children and Youth(ManuFest IFF) is to implement cultural, educational, human rights, and social programs aimed at fostering national and universal values and supporting the comprehensive development of children and youth.

The ManuFest IFF also aims to ensure children’s and youth’s access to cinema and culture, promote creative cultural education, foster multicultural dialogue and international cooperation, support the creative potential of the younger generation, and strengthen Armenia’s active involvement in the international cultural sphere.

As an intercultural platform, the ‘ManuFest’ Festival will provide opportunities to organize film screenings, masterclasses, creative meetings, premieres, roundtable discussions, special programs, conferences and international cultural initiatives, bringing together children, youth, cinematographers, artists from different countries around the world.

As a unique and large-scale platform, ManuFest IFF aims to engage children and youth from all social layers, including those from orphanages, socially vulnerable families and children with disabilities, as active participants. We create an environment where they

can explore the world, learn, create, and connect both with their peers and with professional artists.

Approximately 15,000 participants from Yerevan and the regions of Armenia are expected.

ManuFest IFF preserves its established format: the jury for the competitive program is composed exclusively of children and youth, giving them an active role and the ability to evaluate independently.

ALL THE ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS OF THE ManuFest ARE EXCEPTIONALLY ORGANIZED ON BENEVOLENT BASIS.
